Dick
Poje has been an
entrepreneur and management consultant in the payments community for
more than 30 years.
He is highly regarded for his role in shaping the Treasury Management profession; he is a respected commentator on issues driving payment systems around the world. Dick is known for the practical, creative solutions he brings to client engagements. Previously, he had been a partner and director of Treasury Strategies, Inc. since 1985.
A
co-founder of Phoenix-Hecht and its CEO for many years, Dick gave the
payments community its first tools for differentiating and measuring
the performance of cash management banks. His new venture brings yet
another opportunity for new approaches and a different style of
consulting geared to the needs of a twenty-first century
marketplace.
His philosophy that consultants must be focused, independent, and committed problem solvers is novel in a world that values strategic alliances, joint ventures, "leverage," and growth for growth's sake. Having worked with a diverse spectrum of clients R. J. Poje & Company brings specialized knowledge and insight to every engagement. And Dick's personable style makes getting real answers to questions, and thus providing actionable solutions, much easier.
Dick holds degrees from Fordham University and the University of Chicago. He is currently writing a book about the origins of Treasury Management
