R. J. Poje and Company is a management consulting firm headquartered in the Chicago suburbs. Dick Poje, a founder of Phoenix-Hecht and long-time Partner at Treasury Strategies, formed the company in 2000. Its mission is to build value for clients by improving Treasury operations and making practical, cost effective choices about payment processing options and other Treasury-related technologies.
We serve clients in two distinct markets. We work with businesses of all sizes to re-engineer Treasury and payment processing operations. And we work with service providers, banks, outsourcing firms, credit card operators and others creating strategies and products for end user delivery.
Last year the "payments business" generated nearly $180 Billion in U.S. revenue alone, twice that much worldwide. Americans generate more payment transactions than the next seven largest economies combined, and there are so many twists, turns and changes in our payment systems that wrong or costly transaction choices are common. Our recent move away from paper checks is changing the B2B and C2B payment landscapes dramatically, creating new choices, opportunities and challenges for our clients.
